150,000 Victorians joined in the celebration of EastLink EastLink Road Show was held on Sunday 15 June, a fortnight before EastLink opened Extraordinary turnout of more than 45,000 cyclists for the three cycle events The EastLink cycle events were the largest ever held in Australia Unprecedented community response Enjoying the ride Cyclists northbound on EastLink Cyclists passing in front of the EastLink Operations Centre More than 200 unique and vintage cars participated in the car parade from Frankston to Ringwood Warming up for the EastLink fun run Thousands wait at the start line The main festival site in Ringwood Inside the ConnectEast marquee Roving entertainment near the Ringwood tunnel entrances Roving entertainment Walking into one of the EastLink tunnels Around 100,000 people walked the EastLink tunnels Everyone went in, and everyone came out! The tunnels opened to traffic just a fortnight later
