VicTraffic iPhone app

VicTraffic is the official traffic iPhone app from VicRoads. ConnectEast recommends this app to you as a great way to keep in touch with what's happening on the roads in Melbourne, including on EastLink, the Eastern Fwy and Monash Fwy.

ConnectEast collects traffic flow data from equipment built into EastLink, and sends this data to VicRoads. VicRoads aggregates the EastLink data with data from other freeways and major roads around Melbourne, and processes it into a format suitable for sending to your iPhone via the VicTraffic app (right).

With the VicTraffic app you can:

  • View realtime travel times on freeways and major roads around Melbourne, including EastLink
  • Access traffic alerts for all of Victoria
  • View live traffic camera images
  • Create and save your favourite routes.

 

If you don't have an iPhone you can still access this information on your mobile by going to http://mobiletraffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au
