Michael lives in Frankston and travels on business all over Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
He uses EastLink whenever he needs to go to Ringwood in his car. It costs him $5.26 one way and it saves him around 30 minutes every time.
The detail
For longer trips on EastLink, the toll cap for cars with tags is just $5.26 per trip on weekdays. The toll cap even applies if you exit and rejoin EastLink, so long as you keep going in the same direction, don’t repeat a section, and complete your trip within one hour after you first entered EastLink.

When using EastLink with a non-tag account
The car toll cap and car weekend discount outlined above also apply to non-tag accounts. Each trip on EastLink without a tag is charged an additional image processing fee (25 cents).
