Maintenance Updates
From time to time we will need to close parts of EastLink, so we can perform routine maintenance and for the occasional major public event. When we do, we will provide updates here to assist you.
"Inbound" means heading towards the City. "Outbound" means heading towards Frankston.
The Mullum Mullum tunnel is the outbound EastLink tunnel from the Eastern Fwy / Springvale Rd to Ringwood Bypass / Maroondah Hwy.
The Melba tunnel is the inbound EastLink tunnel from Ringwood Bypass / Maroondah Hwy to the Eastern Fwy / Springvale Road.

Tunnel closures for routine maintenance in 2013
There will be some closures of the EastLink tunnels for routine maintenance during 2013. These closures are required to maintain EastLink's high safety standards. The remaining closures for 2013 are planned for:

Saturday 13 July

Saturday 9 November
Each closure will commence at 8pm on Saturday night, with the re-opening completed by 7am the following Sunday morning
During these tunnel closures, EastLink (including the Melba and Mullum Mullum tunnels) will be closed in both directions between Springvale Road and Canterbury Road.
Ringwood Bypass will also be closed from Ringwood St to the EastLink - Maroondah Hwy interchange in both directions.
The rest of EastLink will be unaffected by these closures.
