Tunnel maintenance schedule

The EastLink tunnels are closed periodically for scheduled maintenance works. These works are essential to maintain the high safety standard of EastLink.

The following tunnel closures are currently planned:

• Saturday night 14 November 2026 (8pm-7am)

• Saturday night 20 February 2027 (8pm-7am)

• Saturday night 15 May 2027 (8pm-7am)

• Saturday night 14 August 2027 (8pm-7am)

• Saturday night 13 November 2027 (8pm-7am)

Typically, during these tunnel closures:

• EastLink (including the Melba and Mullum Mullum tunnels) is closed in both directions between Springvale Rd and Canterbury Rd.

• Ringwood Bypass is also closed in both directions between Ringwood St and Maroondah Hwy.
