Update for EastLink customers on Transurban’s CityLink and West Gate Tunnel charges

ConnectEast is aware that some trips on Transurban’s CityLink and West Gate Tunnel have been charged incorrectly by Transurban. Transurban is currently identifying affected EastLink accounts and will apply toll credits where required.

EastLink prices changed on 1 July

June 12th, 2026

On 1 July 2026, EastLink prices changed in line with inflation (CPI). EastLink prices have not changed in real terms since 2008.

West Gate Tunnel tolls

November 27th, 2025

Tolls apply to Transurban’s West Gate Tunnel. Transurban is another company, not related to EastLink. This information is provided as a courtesy to EastLink account holders, whose EastLink accounts work on West Gate Tunnel to pay for West Gate Tunnel tolls.

Tunnel maintenance schedule (2026)

The EastLink tunnels are closed periodically for scheduled maintenance works. These works are essential to maintain the high safety standard of EastLink.
