Sandstorm Events invites you to enter a world of fantasy, wonder and imagination – crafted entirely from sand!

These April school holidays, get ready to be amazed as Australia’s leading sand sculptors go head-to-head with incredible international artists in an epic creative showdown, as they compete for the prestigious title of ‘Australian Champion'. 

With more than 400 tonnes of sand, the Frankston Waterfront will be transformed into an Enchanted Realm, filled with breathtaking fairy-tale castles, enchanting fairies, mighty dragons and all sorts of mythical creatures.

Beyond the spectacular sculptures, families can enjoy a full program of interactive fun, including:

Children will search for sand-carved Easter eggs hidden throughout the exhibition, complete an activity sheet and receive a free Easter treat - plus entry into the daily Easter hamper draw.

🏖️ Family Beach Competition
Sunday 12 April (10am–12pm)
Gather your family or friends for a fun, hands-on sandcastle challenge on Frankston Beach, starting with an exclusive sculptor-led tutorial.

✨ After Dark Experience (18+)
Saturday 18 April (6pm–9pm)
See the sculptures come alive under lights with live music, food trucks, a licensed bar and an exclusive sculptor tour.
