Frankston’s iconic Waterfront Festival is back for another unforgettable weekend!
Set against the stunning foreshore, the festival is your ultimate destination for live music, delicious food, vibrant drinks, family-friendly activities, and beachside fun.
Kick off the weekend with a bang! Gather your friends after work on Friday and dive into a night of live music, DJ's, food, drinks, and entertainment. Sip colourful cocktails, enjoy thrilling rides, and groove to headline performances as the sun sets.
On Saturday the waterfront turns into a hub of activity for all ages. Families can enjoy child-friendly activities, interactive activations - and the Frankston Swim Classic! Food lovers can explore treats from local food trucks or relax in the beer garden or Carlsberg Beach Club.
Live music keeps the energy high all day, building up to the headlining act before the spectacular fireworks show over the bay.
With a wide variety of entertainment and free entry for all, the Waterfront Festival 2026 is the highlight of Frankston’s summer.

Friday night marks the start of Waterfront Festival.
When the working week ends, gather your friends and head to the waterfront and settle in for a night of live music, colourful drinks and delicious food. For those seeking a thrill to warm up to the weekend the rides will also be in full swing for you to enjoy between sets.
Don’t miss the much-loved fireworks show across the bay on at the new time 9:15pm on Saturday night.
Join us on Saturday 7 February as the Frankston Swim Classic returns to the beautiful shores of Frankston Beach - once again kicking off the iconic Waterfront Festival.
Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or trying your first open water event, this is your chance to be part of a vibrant community celebration set against the backdrop of Frankston beach’s calm, clear waters.
Choose from three classic swim distances: the 400m dash, the popular 1.2km swim, or the endurance-testing 2.5km course - all starting and finishing on the sand in front of the Frankston Yacht Club. Plus, we’re excited to welcome back the crowd-favourite 700m Kids’ Beach Run, giving young participants their own moment to shine.
Expect a day full of energy, encouragement, and unforgettable moments.
