EastLink toll discounts and toll-free infrastructure

EastLink toll discounts
Since EastLink opened in 2008, EastLink has discounted all Car tolls by 20% every weekend and public holiday.
This 20% discount has saved Victorians many millions of dollars each and every year.
Over the last five financial years, the total amount saved by Victorians amounted to $97 million. In the current financial year, the amount saved by Victorian motorists is forecast to exceed $30 million.
EastLink’s 20% discount on Car tolls will continue every weekend and public holiday throughout the summer and into the future.
Car tolls for short trips on EastLink – trips limited to a single toll section excluding the tunnels – are also discounted by 20% on workdays (every Monday to Friday excluding public holidays).
EastLink funded toll-free infrastructure
EastLink funded and built the following roads for all Victorians to use free of charge. These roads have remained toll-free since they were completed in 2007/2008:
Ringwood Bypass
Dandenong Bypass (stage 1)
While Dandenong Bypass was handed over for the State of Victoria to operate and maintain, EastLink continues to operate and maintain Ringwood Bypass.
Encouraging other forms of transport for healthy lifestyles
EastLink also funded and built the 35km EastLink Trail for all pedestrians and cyclists. EastLink continues to operate and maintain the EastLink Trail.
EastLink resurfacing completed
Last year, EastLink completed a massive three-year program to completely resurface EastLink – including entry and exit ramps and Ringwood Bypass.
